Hello to you!
This is just my blog about lifes’ simple joys. I hope I might encourage you to find pleasure in the simple things. I would love feedback- your comments, thoughts, and questions are all welcome.
Let me try to tell you a bit about me. I’m just an ordinary girl, finding joy in the things God has blessed me with. I love my family. My parents are the best I could ever have wished for. I have two wonderful sisters, a brother-in-law, and two adorable little nephews. I love feeling creative, whether I’m in the kitchen, with my sewing machine, or in the garden. I love cooking and baking, trying new recipes, and not using recipes at all. I have an old green Singer sewing machine from (I believe) 1964 that I adore. I’ve named him Seymour. I love tea, teapots, and teacups…all things tea. Reading is a favourite of mine. I love old books, the look of them, the smell of them, and the style of writing in them. I love the Classics. Dickens, in my eyes, is one of the greatest Authors. I also enjoy being outdoors in Gods’ creation. I love living in the Northwest. The mountains, the trees, the ocean…we have it all in our backyards. I have a part-time job as a nanny. I love children and the crazy things their little minds think up. Truly, I have laughed more while nannying than anywhere else. My girls (Jessica and Ashley) and I are the best of friends. I look forward to spending Tuesdays with them. Sometimes- yeah, maybe I do take my job too seriously. I desire them to grow up to be respectable, honest, and compassionate people. Who cares if their not my own! We could always use more people with good sense on this earth, right? So as I have the chance to be a part of the lives of these two little persons, I hope I can use that part for Gods glory.

You sound like me… or me like you.
Old books! Yes, love the style, the look (and smell too! love it!)…everything about them. I'm reading Dicken's "Nicholas Nickleby" right now, actually. <3 Lovely.
right now, though, the "kiddos" here are keeping everyone busy!
Tea….words can't describe it!
I used to be a "Mother's helper", and it was sooo fun! I'd love to nanny or something someday, if I needed a "job" (I don't know if I personally call it a "job"… )
Now that I've gone on & on & on ( I need to just get my own blog!)….
Love you,
have a jolly day dear (I'm going to call you later!lol-),
